Being humble for self

Humility leads to strength and not weakness. It is the highest form of self-respect to admit mistakes and to make amends for them.

No idea who John J. McCloy is, but its always nice to see when humility makes the cut in today's glossy life. Neither in politics, nor in work, and sadly, not in art either. A year and a half ago, it didn't make it to the top seven list in an ethics and integrity 'training'. On being quizzed why this was so, the trainer smiled sheepishly, agreed "hmm..yes" to some unspecified part of the statement, before heading off for his coffee and the next lot of trainees.
